notary, tax forms, and voter registration

Hi, I'm Brenna.  I am a reference librarian at the Geneva Public Library.  Your Library provides many services to the community including Notary, Tax Forms during tax season, and Voter Registration. Learn more below.  Contact us at geneva.library@gpld.org or call us at 630-232-0780 if you have questions.

Notary Services by Appointment

We offer free notary services for basic acknowledgement and affirmation signatures to Geneva District residents only.

Walk-in notarizations are generally available Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. but it’s recommended to call ahead at (630) 232-0780 x287.

To request a scheduled appointment for afternoons or weekends call (630) 232-0780 x251 or email us at geneva.library@gpld.org.

The document being notarized must be signed in front of the notary. Additionally, the person receiving this service must provide a valid photo ID and bring any required witnesses with them.

Non-Geneva District residents can contact the American Association of Notaries to find a notary nearest to them.

TAX FORMS

Visit us during tax season for online access to tax forms and printed copies when available.  Download and print forms online.

VOTER REGISTRATION

You can register to vote at the Library. Please bring two forms of identification.  Start the online voter registration application.
