Join us as we take a look at histories biggest trend-setters. Books, Movies, shows, and more that were the forerunners of their genres.

In this discussion we will be turning our focus on the great fantasy epic, Lord of the Rings.

What was the genre like before, how has it changed since. We will be taking a look at how Tolkien's great epic left it's impact, if it's impact is still felt today, and how that impact might change in the future.

For this discussion the only required reading will be the first book, but discussions branching to the other two or the movies are welcome and encouraged.
