Temporary Makerspace

Cybercrime is increasing annually, and it's time to protect your passwords and secure your private information.

Whether using your phone, laptop, or remoting into a workstation, ensure your passwords are available and secure with a password manager.

If you are unfamiliar with password managers and how they function, join us in discovering how to secure your private information. If you already use a password manager, such as Google Password Manager, come learn about different, more secure managers.

In this session, we will discover what is a password manager and evaluate five criteria for a number of popular and industry-standard managers to determine the best fit for you. Additionally, we will explore essential language and skills related to cybersecurity, such as identifying cyber threats and responding to data breaches.

PREREQUISITE: Basic computer knowledge to open and navigate an internet browser. No library card is required for registration.
